Brooklyn Bowl set to open soon in Williamsburg
Pete Shapiro, former owner of Wetlands Preserve, is getting set to open his newest live music venture, Brooklyn Bowl. The bowling alley/bar/lounge/venue located directly next door to the Brooklyn Brewery in Williamsburg will feature 16 lanes, live music on a 34′ x 18′ stage (that’s pretty big), a kitchen serving a Blue Ribbon menu, a 50′ bar, leather couches and hi-def projection screens above the lanes. Capacity is listed as 600. Official opening date has yet to be announced however they are advertising the Lebowski Fest on September 24th. They’ll be announcing the official opening date via their Twitter and Facebook. Hours are currently listed as Mon-Thurs 6p – 2a, Fri 6p – 4a, Sat 11a – 4a, Sun 11a – 2a.

Brooklyn Bowl is located at 61 Wythe Avenue between N. 11th & 12th streets Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York.
L Train to Bedford Ave stop. Exit at the rear of the train (coming from Manhattan), walk North on Bedford Ave. Make a left at N. 11th st, walk 2 blocks. Make right on Wythe, Brooklyn Bowl is on the right.
G Train to Nassau Ave stop. Walk south on Nassau, make a slight right on Berry St. Make a right on N. 12th street, walk 1 blocks. Make left on Wythe, Brooklyn Bowl is on the left.
From Manhattan: take the Williamsburg Bridge, get off the first stop, make a hard right onto Broadway. Make a right onto Bedford Ave, drive about half a mile until you reach N.12th street. Make a left on N. 12th, drive 2 blocks, make a left on Wythe. Brooklyn Bowl is on your left, between N. 12th and N. 11th.
